Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior Box Office: Ajay Devgn's Film Effortlessly Cruises Past Rs. 250 Crore Mark

Ajay Devgn would sure be on cloud nine today as his historical drama Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior flew past the Rs. 250 crore mark the box office. The shinning gem in his filmography has been beating competition, no matter how big or small, for four weeks now and has left behind films like Street Dancer 3D, Panga and even the newest Jawaani Jaaneman with its fourth weekend total.

Varun Dhawan-Shraddha Kapoor’s Street Dancer 3D [Week 2] earned Rs. 9.32 crores, where as Saif Ali Khan’s Jawaani Jaaneman [Week 1] saw a good start with Rs. 12. 83 crores. Leaving these two projects behind Ajay’s film on Maratha warrior Tanhaji Malusare earned Rs. 13.53 crores in its fourth weekend.

The film certainly is living upto all the expectations an actor could have of his century in Bollywood and then some. Tanhaji has left Ajay’s previous highest grosser Golmaal Again [Rs. 205 crores] way behind with an impressive total that stands at Rs. 251.40 crores.

The next target for the film is the Rs. 275 crore mark and the intensity with which the movie continues to run it doesn’t seem very far.

To the newer releases we say watch out for nearly month old movie, while for Ajay Devgn we hope this is just the first film of an epic 2020 ahead as he has two more films including Maidaan and Bhuj: The Pride of India releasing.
